Direct bolt on mate. You need TB disc covers too... I didn’t do the rear calipers though, just rebuilt them, as the TB rears have the hand brake incorporated in the caliper.

Ok I have giving the Patrol a heavy bleed and OMG the back brakes actually locked up I never thought that could happen, so now I have adjusted the lpv valve but the official way of checking it is complicated, so my thoughts I will keep driving it and adjusting the lpv until the back brakes start locking up again and then back it of a tad.

for 2k for standard tb48 brakes you could buy willwood calipers, braided lines and choose your own rotors aftermarket.
is there a specific reason for wanting to go the tb48 stuff?

with the diff swap did you just take a complete gu diff with brakes and all and swap it out with the gq diff?

I don't know if the universal calipers sold by Willwood will fit a Patrol. I have just commenced this journey to do the upgrade and have dialogue with the US saying the universal calipers are more for special builds/custom where a kit has not been configured - sounded like they were different enough and he wasn't interested in selling them to me on the basis I would get pissed off when they didn't fit - maybe he is wrong?. The front Willwood 6 pot kit is $2500 and the rears $2400, plus you need 17" wheels minimum. I like the look of the TB 48 upgrade as the parts remain Nissan in the main, although I doubt i would have issues with parts for the Willwood setup.

It can be done for half that mate. Just gotta look harder that’s all.
Braided brake lines is a great upgrade too.
