    Second row seat conversion

Just wondering what others have done with removing the second row seats and customising for touring.
    Pictures would be fantastic.
btw. checked with insurance and they have approved the removal.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?

Not really sure what you are after.

Went on an 8 week trip with a few mates.

I removed my seats, put some 3 x 2 pine on floor to level up and secured 2 x 40 litre Engel fridges in there.

One was used as a freezer, the other for essentials and beer.

    Sorry no pics

I did this for our trip last year to Lorella Springs. I added alu angles to the forward bolts to be able to use the straps. I also got a couple of cheap backpacks from Kmart to hang off the head rests.
Behind the bins there are also 2 x 20 lts jerries of water.
I wasn't too concerned about weight with a 3550 kg GVM

    Cheers guys,
Levelling the floor is a good idea. That would make it easier to stack the storage boxes.
