    gu engines

    hello,i have a low km 2008 diesel nissan patrol,wife rolled it and now a write off. looking at another patrol with high km,s and would like to exchange motors.my question is up to what year patrol could i use. eg. will my 2008 motor fit (without much trouble) a 2013 model??
    motor is a Zd 30.eg., will the wiring etc.match up? do the cars have to come from same country it was manufactured ? anything i need to be careful of?? thanks for any help in advance..

    It would be a 3.0CRD. So yeah a 2013 would be same motor.

    ok,thanks Maxhead. thought they maybe the same,but just wasn,t sure if wiring etc. would all be the same, also someone told me things maybe different depending on what country the car was manufactured??hoping for straight forward engine/trans removal out of write-off into next patrol wagon.
