Full size aluminium roof rack - FREE

I have a full size aluminium roof rack to give away. It is too high to fit in my garage and is now surplus to requirements.
One of the mounts cracked off (on our cape trip) but it has been fixed by U-bolting the mounting bracket onto the circular cross member as can be seen in the pic. The pic is marked to show the break points of the failed mount. Similar U-bolts have been put on all 8 mounts to avoid any repeat as some cracks did appear in other mounts. The U-bolts make the mounts fixed instead of adjustable but this fits a GU wagon and these might need to be modified for other models. The mesh floor has been pushed out of shape to allow fitting of the U-bolts which can also be seen in the pic.
This fits a GU wagon and might need the mounts to be modified for other models.
The rack itself is otherwise good.
This is available for pickup at Toowong in Brisbane.rack2.jpgrack1.jpg

No takers? I can hardly reduce the price. Maybe the forum is a little too Victoria centric for a Brisbane offer.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Ask a $100 and you might get a bite. LOL. Just saying as no one wants my 2" Lift springs for free either. Did I mention I have a set of 2" lift springs for a GQ to give away?
