    GU LH wing mirror wanted

Wondering if anyone might have a passenger side mirror (black, manual adjust type) that they would be prepared to part with. I just need the mirror, not the door mount. Happy to pay fair price.

    Thanks folks
    Happy New Year

    No local wreckers options.

Bought one off ebay - a cheapie (if $64 for a plastic mirror can be considered cheap - Nissan's price was something like $470!) - arrived today. Came with door mounting + screws + rubber gasket, although I didn't need those having replaced the mounting with a cast alloy unit from Patrolapart a month or two back. In hindsight I should have bought the complete mirror with mount back then.

The new mirror is an accurate copy of the original, except that the square section on the mirror mounting 'bolt' is all metal, unlike the plastic sleeve square section on the original. I think the copy is better quality in that regard. I had overtightened the original mirror when I re-fitted it last time, & this had destroyed the square plastic sleeve. Attempts to make a home made replacement had failed, hence the new mirror. The ebay one probably weighs a bit less, maybe less plastic/thinner glass? But in this instance, stuck out on the end of a ute extension bar, less weight is probably desirable.

If anyone is looking at this post down the track when they need a replacement mirror, I'd say just buy one of the ebay, made in Taiwan ones.
