    TD42T conversion

Hi guys, new member here looking to learn and share info, I bought a gu td42/manual brand new back in 2002 & the body has now got beyond repair so Ive found a gq tb42efi/auto I have put my driveline into. I’ve got it Running, glowing and charging, just need help with wiring up the coolant temp, oil pressure, speedo and tacho to the gq harness. When I got the wagon the harness finished at the battery so it’s got me stumped on what plugs go where. Cheers.

    Hi Ryno.
Ok they are quite different. Take the dash out of your TD maybe the best option. Coolant temp oil pressure oil temp ECG ETC stock Nissan stuff is a little slow to respond anyway. From my knowledge 2002 efi all the sensors will all inputs to the Electronic Control Module (ECU) and then outputs to the gauge cluster. Auto and manual are also different. Hope of some help.
