Maybe because it is the only reality tv competition show where there is no crying and excess drama.
I heard one bloke comment as he was eliminated early, on how he and his weren't worthy and his parting words were
"I'll take my glory when I earn it"
That is not a comment you'll hear on masterchef of the farkin X factor lol

Missing in Action
"Alone" on SBS Viceland. 10 men dropped on Vancover Island, British Columbia miles apart from each another with only 10 items. Have to catch all their own food. No camera crews, all filmed by the contestants. They have to contend with the weather, Black Bears, Cougers & Wolves. 30 days in so far & only 4 left.
Last one left wins $500,000.

That would have been Season 2. Interesting that 2 of the last 3 left were women after 70 days in the wilds of Patagonia, I`d be lucky to last 7 days!
The one on at the moment is a repeat of Season 1. Will defiantly be watching the next series.

Any of you guys watch ‘Black as’ described as : Go bush with the Black As boys as they venture into the wilds of Arnhem Land, Australia hunting for adventure and a good feed.
Same director as bush mechanics. Push through the first couple of episodes as it gets better as it goes along. For me, its like ‘going north on a northern safari’, great show to explain to new 4wd-ers that you don’t need to pay for thousands of dollars worth of ‘extras’ To enable you to go bush. Also it’s great Aussie humour 👍

Currently watching The Long Way Up. Previous series The Long Way Round, and The Long Way Down were great to watch.
This time it’s a little different. They are riding full electric Harley Davidson motorcycles and the support crew are in full electric prototype Rivian utes.
If you haven’t seen the previous series, watch them. Ewan McGregor and his mate ride bikes around the world in a nutshell.
Love these series.

Patrol God
Try watching Yellowstone. Has Kevin Costner as lead playing a ranch owner. Lots of brutal watching. There are 3 seasons available with a 4th next year. Sadly to far away. This is streaming on Stan. Don't bother with trailers, just give it a go. Sure you will find you wanting to watch more.
In the words of a Dhuck "QUACK".
