Not much of an update here but, bought belts, thermostat, hoses, coolant overflow tank and choke knob. The plan is to work it on along with fresh coolant, oil and plugs next weekend weather pending - not keen on spannering in hot sun again!
Still need to find a time to head to Patrolapart to grab new fan as mine's cracked quite badly.

Update!
New belts are in, went to Patrolapart yesterday only to find it’s closed for long weekend.
Still desperately trying to find engine fan for TB42 with 101mm spacing, everyone else seem to have td42.

I thought I’d drive the Mav (unreg permit of course) from my mates in Hoppers to my place and that happened.
I don’t have clutch lol
It drove fine and on the freeway, it started to slip there and there, until I went over Westgate when I went downhill, it didn’t want to be a clutch.
Now, I’m waiting for tow truck to come.

Question for y’all, been searching internets whether TB and TD clutches are the same.
Patrolapart listed both as same but everyone else said it’s different, disc size are the same.
Can anyone confirm or deny?
Thanks heaps.
