Hi, my name is Jonny.
I grew up and learned to do auto diagnostics in North America.
For the past 10 years I've been in Haiti trying to do what I do and seeing vehicles from all over the globe. I'm not a real fan of Nissan but from what I'm seeing the Patrol is a sturdy vehicle especially with the venerable 4.2 inline diesel.
Currently trying to figure out an RD28 with erratic injection timing and won't stay running. I pulled the timing cover off and noticed that between the injection pump and the camshaft it's off one tooth. I'm looking for a manual that would show all the timing marks and if it's possible to time it without removing the crankshaft pulley.
