    fuel tanks petrol , diesel

    hi all
just purchased a 2005 4.8L auto patrol which has a gas system on it , this system has been removed leaving a big hole where the main tank use to be . my question, can the diesel tanks be used as replacements with a different pump, are they interchangeable or do I need to find a 4.8L tank only
PS I live in Tasmania is anyone looking for a gas system or any ideas where to start looking for a main tank
    Thanks Craigg

All the same in the wagons mate. GQ and GU will fit. Rear tank Only. Subs are different between GQ and GU but all rears are the same.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

MRTD is on the money again, IIRC found earlier GU-DX leafy utes versus ST coily utes were similar yet mounting brackets set differently forward and much higher betterer for tank arse rear rock slapping:-(
