Hello and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?

Welcome to the forum.
Funny you should mention 12v accessory wiring, I'm just in the process of adding a boost/EGT gauge and dual battery monitor gauge to my GU III.
I'm planning on adding two fuse blocks under the steering column, soldering a wire to the 12v ON wire and Parker lights wire coming from the back of the ignition barrel to power each block, then a 2A fuse that can power and illuminate the gauges from the fuse blocks (as specified in the installation instructions).
So my question is; do you think it's fine to solder a wire from the wires on the back of the ignition barrel to power things like gauges, dash cams, stereo head units, etc?
I'm planning to use 50A 6mm auto cable from the ignition barrel to the fuse block.
