Did you have the rubber or urethane spring hats fitted. It could have disintegrated away maybe.

Yeah the factory ones are still there. When I get to pull them out I'll see what kind of condition they're in. Might even put in 1 inch ones.
Wife wanted to go to bunnings today. Now I've got wardrobe inserts to install and fostered tint over bathroom and ensuite windows.

The more I think about this the more I believe the left hand front Spring has lost it's tension or load rating. Can't see or feel anything out of place. Hopefully I'll jack the front up on Friday, take off the wheels and see how that spring is. I remember it was a bitch to get in,if it comes out easily then there's a problem.

Little update on this.
Pit it up on stands with a brick under the front drivers side wheel, passenger side wheel off. Unbolted the shocker and let the diff come down. The spring itself looks OK. Took a measurement from the top of the spring to the bottom. Put it all back together and repeated one the other side.nearly 50mm difference. Not the most accurate way of measuring I know. If I had spring clamps I would have taken them off to compare.
Foam cell shock absorber don't extend on their own do they.
What gets me is that sometimes it looks pretty level and other time it's really noticeable. Doing my head in..

It sure is a head twist. I was thinking about a bent shocker there for a minute however you have isolated that issue by removing it, so the spring is free to extend. Why it delivers level ride height and then minus 50 is curious. The spring simply won't hold itself back from its natural length at no load. Good luck, I am lost on this one also. Hate problems like this one!
