ZD30 Replace IP, Things to remember, How to.

Just replaced VP44 in my 2004 GU , which turned into a nightmare. Could have been very simple, if I had known this.
Got all the extras off, timing cover off, etc, nearly time to remove IP
The IP gear is visable, turn the engine via crank nut until CC marking is visable on idler gear which meshes with IP gear.
JUst to the right and down a little is a large plug [ removed by a large allen key ] , remove it.
take one of the bolts secureing fan to fan clutch.
Find hole through the hole where plug was removed, insert bolt, nip up lightly. Scissor gear is now locked. VVV Important.
Wipe gears clean ,use texta to mark gear tooth between CC mark.
    REmove IP.
Replace new IP in the exact same place.
    Take pictures before removal
Also texta mark timing chain at all relavant pionts and take pictures.
Everything must go back exactly as removed,
DO NOT TURN ENGINE < ONCE REMOVED>
    Good luck
