A/t oil temp - breakdown!
Hi guys
I bought a 2010 Nissan Patrol GU on Friday. I had it for 2 hours and it broke down on me on the way home!!!!!
Needless to say I am pissed...
The A/T OIL TEMP light came on, it lost power and stopped. I'm wondering if anyone can help with any advice on what this means and if this is a known fault? I wanted to get some info before the car garage take it back to check it (they are picking it up some time today) but it will be getting checked by their own mechanics so I want to get a bit clued up in case they are trying to rip me off!
Thanks in advance guys! x

Dribble Master
Nope not a known fault. Wondering if someone had serviced the box lately and used incorrect fluid

Yes they have said they will fix it of course, but it's the point that I hadn't even driven it home and it broke down on me after having it less than 2 hours. It hasn't filled me full of confidence to take it off-roading! I am more wanting to know if this is a known fault that I didn't know about? I mean I did my research which is why I went for a Patrol they are awesome cars, but just a bit worried now.
Thanks

Yeah I'm really hoping they have just not fully checked it before letting me drive it away! Thank you. x
