Hello
Hi have just bought a 2007 3l GU to use for camping and exploring in WA. Took it for a test run up to Coral Bay over the school holidays and it went really well. Gave the car a reasonable workout off road including a 60km of really rough corrugations in and out of Ningaloo station Not surprising a few small issues cropped up so have joined the forum to get some advice.
1) was cleaning the windscreen with the bonnet open and closed the bonnet before I lowered the wipers. Smashed the rh wiper back into the cavity behind the firewall. Looking for some info on how to access and replace the mechanism
2) the front left hub does not work in 4wd auto. Apparently not uncommon worked really well when in lock though
3) Was driving back through Perth today and the car just cut out. Only did it once and restarted fine is this a common issue?
Looking forward to getting to know the car.

Hey mate, congrats on the purchase.
Re wiper arm etc, you need to undo wiper arms, there is a cap covering a nut on the end of the wiper. Once removed, take off the plastic grub screws holding the grill down, it should pull up from the bottom then remove it. The motor should be accessible that that top see what damage had been done.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
