Nice work. Will the grill fit back on? Are you going to get a dyno test to see if theres any difference?

Grill will go back on without mod, might cut out some blanking sections around center badge. Pushing a/c condenser back and keeping FM cooler close to radiator spt panel, recon might even have room for spal fan(will see).

Tune likely near future, want to get a handle on where it is at for a while.

Drove twice, first 10kms(local rural) yesterday (2am) and then 8hrs later about 100ks hwy and in traffic. Initial run experience shows run improvement, spools up in a very linear controlled manner and is responsive in a sold way (engine sounds good). Noticed improvement in low down performance and like the drive (good first impressions/early days).
Does drive differently, less turbulence noise than experienced thru previous tube & fin TMIC(this cooler was a very good performer must say).
Different boost behaviour low down may do some adjustment to actuator rod length keep vanes @ closed limit a little longer (induction changes) but it is very driveable with no complaints. EGTs may be a little higher eg: test hill 4th gear 70% eng load stock 575°, with 600x300x76mm t&f TM 380°, now 600x300x76mm FM 400° but early days. Maybe better having slightly higher EGTs for low down torque performance. Cruising @ nom 300°C up from 280°(so close the same).
Have not changed Tillix boost set (max spool/no needle used). Previous TM running max B 27psi now at first run with FM went max boost to 30 psi (bounce) and ran at 28psi, but now settling down running 26 psi max B will watch.

Pleased with result but have sore hands, will fit grill and spotties this evening.

    Bonnet Louver Vent-Rear Facing

No need for bonnet scoop with FMIC, so replaced large scoop with a rear facing louver panel I had made up from 1mm thick mild steel (O/A 700x600mm with louver opening of 600x300mm to suit hole in bonnet).

The heat flow coming out of the engine bay after driving 40 kms run into town is surprising. After 5 minutes with motor off, I could comfortably wrap my hand around hot side SS pipe (150mm) from turbo and this temp would have been half as hot as was with fwd facing scoop fitted (FMIC both cases).

Just waiting on black washers to arrive to finish off, used some split PVC edging around panel and fixed to panel to bonnet with nutserts and countersunk washers and SS screw _ so good a mod.
