Brake calipers
Hey all! First post here, new to the patrol scene. I've got myself an 89 GQ and been spending some time on the tracks. I've managed to damage the front left brake caliper. It's a twin piston unit and I've been told not the factory caliper for an 89. Can anyone identify what model they're off? Will be a huge help in the search for a replacement. I've put a link tona photo of the caliper below, let me know if there's any problems accessing.

Cheers all!

They are off the GQ fitted with the EFI petrol motor. Patrol a Part sell s/h and new kits, plus parts pop up from time to time on ebay and gumtree. You will also have the larger diameter disks than the single pot calipers. I think they came out around 92-93 -ish?

The 747
Yep Phil is spot on.
Depending on the damage they could be repairable? They are a pretty well sought after upgrade for a GQ so they do fetch a pretty penny and I reckon you'd struggle to find a bloke willing to seperate a pair. Patrolapart would be okay though of course.

Thanks Guys, I'll get onto patrolapart, at least i Know what I'm looking for now. I've dropped a couple of photos of the damage to the album. https://photos.app.goo.gl/dhJ7FG2xDLFpBbeQ7 The bolts attaching the caliper came loose which was about as fun as it sounds, so ill have to source those while I'm at it. At least its a good reminder to double check these safety items

Thanks for the links peebee. Unfortunately the housing has copped some damage. The cracks where it has been stoved in don't show up very well in the photos. You might be able to make them out in the last picture. Given the damage I think replacement will be the way to go
