ZD30 EGR Plate Removal

Hi All,

How do I tell whether I have a blocking plate installed? Will it be an obvious plate between the engine and flange. I ask because I'm picking up a GU8 in a week or so, so history from that perspective is unknown.

The plate should be obvious. it will be at least 1mm thick, compared to a gasket of less than .25mm. Location could be from the EGR pipe to cooler, cooler to intake manifold or exhaust manifold to egr pipe.
