TD42 gearbox sandwich plate

Hi People My name is Andrew
Just wounding if any one could please enlighten me to what bolts to the gearbox sandwich plate with the 4 off 6mm hex head screws that is
positioned around the crankshaft near the rear main seal.

Pretty sure that is what bolts the sandwich plate to the rear main seal housing?
