    Cleaning cloth seats

What is the proven way to clean the cloth seats in our patrols?
Got a streak of charcoal on one when a coal (cold) attached itself to my backside.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?

that spray on stuff in a can with a scrubber on the lid works great mate. When i drowned my GQ many years ago i did a full clean and detail. the seats came up like New.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Agree with above.
When I cleaned my old patrols seats out years ago.
Got them out of the car and used that spray stuff that foams up. Then clean rubbed and let it dry.

    Cheers for that.
I will drop by SC and check out their offerings for cleaning foam.

I grabbed a carpet cleaner from the supermarket that had an upholstery attachment.
The old car came up like new.

Mine are about 3-4 yrs old now and show no signs of wear.
Ill be upgrading my Strato drivers seat to the suspension one they sell
so Id like to think the TJM covers will protect them.

Just hired a carpet cleaner from Coles with the upholstery piece.
Years ago one of the kids spilt coffee in the car. We cleaned it as best we could, but today I cleaned it with the machine.
Check out this water just from his seat
