Clutch Doesn't Return During Bleed
Hi Everyone,
So very confused... need advice.
While bleeding the clutch I seem to be pumping for ages and pressure doesn't return but if i leave it alone for a few minutes, the pressure eventually returns.
Background is installed new clutch, flywheel, slave and second hand master. No leaks that's obvious.
Stuck...
I wonder if the master is damaged or that i still have air in the system. Waiting for a vacuum pump to get any stubborn air pockets.
I drive a GU with a converted GQ TD42
Any other ideas?
Cheers,
Casey

Place a block of wood under the clutch pedal when bleeding the system, so the pedal doesn't go beyond normal operation travel and try bleeding again.

Thanks for the reply. In the end i took the booster out and adjusted everything and also replaced the brand new genuine GU slave with a Bosch GQ slave because it had a smaller bore. This is sometimes necessary for the NPC Viper clutch.
Well all perfect now and very smooth. Learnt a whole bunch along the way as well.
