Adventure Kings Throttle Controller ??
Hi All,
Has anybody tried or uses an Adventure Kings Throttle Controller ??
Have a couple of questions regarding the Bluetooth side of it.
1. is the entire unit out of site? (ie. no control panel)
2. do you switch between modes via your phone / device ?
I have a windbooster unit in my other vehicle that I leave on the highest power setting all the time, I have had it on for about 5 years now I think and have had no issues.
The AK unit is only $118 inc postage (but not to my place) which is pretty good if it works
Thanks

Update , answered my own questions after finding a UTube video on it.
Yes it is all hidden and does switch between modes from your phone / device.
Still after any feedback / thoughts if anyone is running one
Thanks

GU use an electronic throttle position sensor Nic. All GQs and the GU TD42 variants use cable.

IMO those throttle controllers are snake oil..
Just press the throttle 10% more with your foot and there you go.

Hi All,
I bought and fitted the 3 setting blue tooth model last week , I have it set in “sport” mode and the difference is very noticeable , all throttle pedal lag is gone and the power gain is pretty good .
Overall happy so far , no issues hooking it up just plugged in and set via phone app.

Can help to reduce throttle lag caused from drive by wire set up in stock CRD eng. Used one 2 yrs ago when running stock VNT vac solenoid controlling boost but was removed when I installed manual boost control Dawes / Tillix and needle valve.
Currently trialing a throttle control unit with Tillix and the stock VNT vac solenoid (in lieu of a needle valve). ECU remap, max boost 26psi, H/F stage 3 turbo and getting good results. Helps to to get the larger turbo exhaust wheel to spin up quicker and is very noticeable low down in 4th &5th gear (24psi by 2000rpm). Running it at mid high level range as this is all is needed for my setup.
