    GU odometer swaps?

    Hey guys,

New to the forums as im in the market for my first patrol. been looking at lots of GU's and most likely leaning towards the 3l due to funds.
Im looking at a couple which have around 180kms to 200kms and whilst this isnt extremely low one of them has had some interior parts changed and i was wondering how hard it would have been to put in the gauge cluster from a lower km wreck? Is there anyway of checking easily?

    Thanks in advance guys.

    Lee.

    Hi Lee,

First up please do head over and throw up an introduction.

Secondly, yes this is very, VERY EASY. I just changed my cluster, as my temp gauge wasn't working. My car now has over 150,000 ks more than it started with. Not a big deal for me but definitely a potential issue for someone in your position
