Morning all,
Recently purchased 2000 GU Patrol 3.0L TDI. Just cracked 190,000km, has been well looked after by the previous original owner.
It is all stock standard (I think), mainly used for towing a caravan and boat in the early days and cruising around town in the later years.
Maiden voyage tore the side wall from the best of my four Coopers - not a good start and certainly not a good way to convince the Wife that venturing into the forest is a sound idea!
So far, reasonably trouble free motoring barring a fuel tank full of slop thanks to the previous owner putting around town for the past few years.
Why am I here - a 19 year old car is bound to throw up a few issues from time to time.
Having seen some of the great posts on here I can see there are some passionate Patrol owners who I am sure will be able to help.
