    Tablet and phone mounts

I've had a bit of a search through but I never seem to have much luck with the search on this forum, so appologies if this has been covered.

I'm looking for a decent way to mount my phone and my tablet. I don't want them stuck to my windscreen and I'm sick of buying stuff that breaks in a few weeks. I'd also prefer not big and bulky. Not fussed if it has inbuilt cables for charging/ext ant ect

I've seen a pretty neat tablet holder that bolts to the passenger seat mount and folds away beside the seat when not in use.. but can't seem to find one like this for sale.

I've tried a few cheap and not so cheap phone holders over the years but most attach to the windscreen or vent and none that I'd ever buy again.

    What's everyone else running/recommend?

Both Samsung phone and tab fyi.

When I used to use a tablet in the car, I had a Ram mount which I tek screwed into the top of my dash.... Worked brilliantly.... There's a couple of guys who've used the Ram seat mounts and there's a build on here where someone with a GU placed the mount inside the center console compartment.

Right now, I just use a windscreen suction one for me phone

Ah yep the Ram with the flexi stalk look pretty good. Not exactly what I saw in another car, was a more solid folding setup. Might have been a home jobbie.

The Ram one might do for the tablet if others have had good luck with them.

Got it thanks. I'm in a gu3 so I don't have that little spot to screw into. Which is part of my problem. Nowhere to put anything.

I have a Ram mont for my Sammy Tablet with a seat mount and flexi stalk. Works well. Worth paying the extra for something decent IMO.

    I have 1 of these:

    RAM-HOL-AP17U.jpg

    2 of these:

    RAM-B-202U.jpg

    and 1 of these:

    RAM-B-101U-P.jpg

I screwed one ball to the top of the dash, made a frame out of some 1.2mm plate that holds the mount and that screws into the pen holder infront of the little drawer. I'll put up a pic when possible.

It is very sturdy and secure.

Thanks mate. Would be good to see how you set it up. Looks like Ram is the gear I want.

I used some cheaper stuff prior to the Ram gear. Don't waste your time & money, the Ram stuff is top quality.
