Slide on Camper suspention mods ?!!!! Help, Ideas,

Hi all I am trying to put a slide on Camper on my GU series 2 .
I would like to replace the coil springs with air bags . I have a 50mm lift .
Has anyone gone down this path My camper is a Palomino Backpacker ! weight approx. 650 Kgs .
Its a bit of work to fit . Making new restraints to fit the Nissan . I have it on BUT. its not enough truck to hold it up .
I have the camper as far forward as I can get it .I had hoped to keep it to the back so as I had somewhere to put my spare wheel .
Its going to take a bit to sort it out . Any ideas ? I will remove the tray and brace the spring mounts and tidy it up . I think I will make my own braces .

Definitely needs tower bracing whichever way you go mate, absolute must for all Patrols, especially coily utes. At quite the expense I’m currently running full on air 100psi bellows on my utes rear only. A lot of information for legal bits and bobs can be found searching ADR regulations etc...
(Guage locations, emergency buzzers, engineering etc..)
Good coils with kevlar bags over 30psi inner coil airbags should save you thousands and get 95% of the job done for your needs

Same sit' here bloke. Have a superior tower brace on, kevlar bags that I run at 50-60 psi. Want to be towing a boat as well so looking at 350kg constant load springs up its' arse.
May require a kidney belt to drive it empty but should sort the load.

Think I would like to go the full air bag way ! as I could let it down to make the loading height more agreeable.
Any idea what the air bags you are using are ? I would make my own adaptors etc . It must look tidy !! thanks Mark

Without the camper on I drop the bags to around 10. Loading / unloading drop all the air, lowers the tray by around 40mm. Less winding of camper legs.
No idea of the brand of the bags. Were fitted when I bought the unit. Sitting inside Pedder springs if that sheds any light.

Tower brace for sure for the rear shock towers
Anyway you can bolt it to the tray using plates as washers?
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
