Greetings from the other side of the world!!!
Hi there,
I have today put down a deposit on a 1993 Patrol TD42 with 405,000 km on it and am looking forward to getting further off the beaten track for camping expeditions with friends and family, in my home country of Cyprus.
For those of you unfamiliar with my small country we are a small island in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea with Greek roots and we like Nissan Patrols and barbecues so I guess we have a lot in common with you Ozzies!
Seems that the Patrol has a cult status in Oz so thought i'd join an Ozzy forum or two to learn more about my new purchase and get my hands on the Service Manuals... (many thanks to all of you for making these available to us newbies).
I am not sure if my vehicle is the same as the GQ Y60 you guys have in Oz. On the Registration doc it refers to the model as WRGY60FUC PATROL. It is made in Japan and is a Right Hand Drive car. Anyone know if this is the same model as the GQ Y60 or if not what the differences are?
Thanks for any advice given!!!
Cheers and happy travels to all!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
