Greetings , Well I finally joined ,I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about peoples Mods and projects, In the past I have fit a 5.7 chev into a Range rover and ran it on gas only, Back in the day when it was worth it. So now I'm looking for the next project, and it was to be an LS1 into a Patrol, But then I read that the fuel consumption I am to expect is 20 liters per 100 Ks, so I was advised to use a LS2, due to on long runs it will shut down Cyls . Can anyone throw suggestions as to what Ks I would expect from this ? ! Cheers Max

Would definitely be interesting to find out more about LS2’s and even LS3’s and others above for sure.
Might pay to throw your query up in the ‘All things Chev’ thread, although I think most current members are chatting the diesel variants at the moment. You never know, hopefully someone out there has petrol weaponised one and in the know to help you on the big decision mate
