    Daughters Car

Daughter has a 2014 Holden Cruze, She's just been told it's going to cost $630 to fix a coil problem. I'm guessing that all coils and she said plugs as well.

That sounds like a shite load but I wouldn't really know. Anyone have experience with stuff?

Seems a bit expensive. I havn't done one on a Cruze but have worked on a similar GM motor. The coils is all one pack. This might help.

He says in the vid that he got the coil pack on Amazon for $90.00 US. i would expect to pay $150 t0 $200 here for a decent after market pack.

A 30 minute job if all goes well. Whack a tiny bit of anti-seize on the spark plug threads and you are good to go.

Thanks @mudnut, I watched that video, looks easy peasy, daughter lives in the city though, sure not a $600 job.

Know of any reputable mechanics in the Hawthorn/Camberwell area?

A good mechanic is worth his weight in gold. I gotta find one in the Bundoora/ Thomastown area for my daughter too.

I run an Ultratune and did one earlier in the week, $450 including new plugs, not a hard job will take longer to get the part.

If your daughter can get to Ferntree Gully (South east suburbs) I can sort it out for her, including a Nissanpatrol.com discount
Just another Blue over Silver GQ with another TD conversion
