Most people run them post turbo on the dump pipe, any reason why you want it pre turbo?
Understand its more accurate of course but at least if your post turbo readings are good than everything before that (turbo, etc) "should" be fine. And being able to compare readings with everyone else who is post turbo is another pro.
The readings are more responsive the closer it is to the actual source of the heat and a lot of heat gets shed off by the time it gets to the dump pipe. If I were to pay a fab shop to weld a bung into the dump (I don't have a welder) I'd might aswell just have them do it to a manifold off ebay, I was just wondering if there was manifolds already done like this that I had missed or just couldn't find.
