First time posting, I have done a search around but could only muppets asking how many shims to put in the diff not how many are in it standard?
Bought a front and rear 4.1 diffs to replace my 3.9s as i got really bogged out bush had a tree fall infront of me and the car spend a good 2 hour under warter while I cut and winched it out the way before i could winch out.
Found on the trip home rear diff started to wine so its shagged and full of water, anyways got another set of diffs with a better ratio, I have pulled down the rear and went to pop in a LSD shim but found 2 already in there, i belive they are but they are warpped and they where both sitting on top when i split the LSD.
Question is there is only 4 standard shims is there ment to be more standard? as they sit well bellow the top?
