Troubleshooting Reversing Light on GU Y61
Hi,
I need help with what I thought was a simple switch change.
Installed the new switch after confirming the old one wasn't working. Pressing the switch with my fingers gets the reverse light on so I thought... easy easy... done. After screwing in the switch, the reversing light still doesn't come on. So now I'm completely baffled... what else could it be?
Doesn't this mean my electrics are all good? If so, then something inside the manual transmission? Help... any ideas?

Legendary
Check you didn't blow a fuse when you were changing the switch.

I am he, fear me
Wot he said ^^^^ ... and...
Was the fuse OK before you changed the switch?
Played with anything in the reverse light circuit, reverse cams etc?
If fuse was prev OK the wiring should be OK unless the old switch went faulty then a second fault occurred.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
