engine conversions
I have a 1991 GQ patrol and have had this for 2 years now, this is the 1st time I have gone into a forum but I know these forum are goo for how people have overcome issues and experienced problems. I'm currently going from an RB30 engine to a RD2.8T engine as I don't know petrol engine as good as I know my diesels. I have a RD2.8T engine out of a GU has any one has issues with this style of engine change that I should know about

Hello and welcome to the forum. If you are expecting any performance gain with the newer RD28 T then you might be disappointed.
Here are somethings to check on the 2.8. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...hings-to-check
Unless the RB has been converted to EFI, they're very simple to maintain and reliable. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...-Helpful-Hints
The RD and RB are constructed from the same block, and as far as I know, they use the same gearbox and engine mounts (I'm more than happy to be corrected on this), so hopefully the conversion should be easy enough.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
