What have you made/created today
G'day all,
I've been busy lately with some home creations and thought I might start by sharing my most recent, hopefully the creative in ask you lot gets inspired or feels like sharing their most recent creations.
Today I made a spit. Total cost... Sub $400 with commercial fittings. It is 1400 long and will fit an entire lamb carcass on it this weekend.

Garlic, rosemary and anchovies.
Trust me and give it a go next time you do a roast lamb. They nearly dissolve and just leave a great flavour behind.

I like the sound of both, but my Greek neighbour is guiding me this time. Simple recipe, olive oil, white pepper salt and oregano. Oh and some lemons in the guts for some bitterness. Yummy

Finish coated this this morning. Handles ready to be mounted just waiting for the oil to dry. It's a serving tray from left over bits I had laying around that weren't good for much but too good to burn

Love the tray. And the oil finish really popped the grain.
