93 Nissan Safari Granroad owner in America
Hey Gents
Been trolling the site for quite some time, figured I would introduce myself
Im in Georgia USA. Im a vehicle importer, mainly Mitsubishi Jeeps and Pajeros, a few crap Toyotas. (www.paladintrucks.com)
Ive had 12 Pajeros over the years, always loved the trucks still do. But, I have always wanted a Patrol. Spent the last year or so specifically looking for a GQ with the TB42E (the gassers work better here with so many high speed roads) in Granroad spec. Hard to come by even in Japan. Finally found a sweetheart 1993, 160k kms, and neat as a pin. Full service records from a nissan Main dealer in Tokyo.
Its been an experience getting to know the GQ, they truly in a whole different category than the Pajeros and Land Cruisers! Mine has the remote disconnect sway bars which is cool, LSD with no locking Diff.
Anyway, great to be part of the group and appreciate all the GREAT info!!
Cheers
Sean

How do you go with right hand drive over there Sean? Any special requirements or restrictions? Down here we can drive left hand drive if it's older than 25 years I think. Any newer it needs to be converted.
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??

Welcome aboard. Look up what Pajero means in Spanish and you will never want to own one again.
