One for the fabricators or anyone else experienced in welding here.

Making some tinny racks for my camper trailer. Tinny weigh's around 60kg.

Looking to use 50x50x3mm tube for the bottom section, and 40x40x3mm tube for the top section. Bottom section welded in place, top section will have a couple of bolts to secure, but otherwise removable.

My main issue is I need it to come 'out' from the main frame around 15-20cm so it clears the tent atop the camper. Trying to figure out the best way to do this.

My two options as far as I can see it

1) Weld tube to the bottom of the camper frame right angle at the end facing forward or back (depending if front or back of camper), then another right angle going upwards for the smaller tube to slide into

2) Weld 3 sections of tube together and weld outwards from the camper frame, with a vertical post from that

3) ??

Does anyone have any other ideas, or reason they'd pick one over the other?
