Nissan patrol new & used parts - what are they worth?

    Hello All,

Time for a cleanup, I've got a stack of new and almost new parts that I want to sell. I've checked the price online so have an idea on some prices BUT I'm also realistic.
There are a couple of limited edition parts that might interest a few collectors @katwoman - something for Steve.

Just looking for some guidance on what to advertise these for and if anyone is interested please make me an offer.

Item #1 - Genuine Simpson 50th Anniversary Cooler

This has never been unwrapped, limited edition of 500. Quality construction. L610, H390, W350

Item #2 - Genuine Simpson 50th Spare wheel Cover

Hardly used, limited edition of 500. Includes key.

Following items suit Nissan Patrol GU Series 4 onward

Item #3 - Genuine Nissan Intercoolerr

As new and has done less than 100km.

Item #4 - Passenger side aluminium sidestep

    Brand new in box

    Fitted example.

Item #5 - Pair of tail lights

    Brand new

Item #6 - Bullbar includes blinkers and fog lights

Used but in great condition, comes with two aerial brackets.

Item #7 - Rear step, includes blinkers

Used and includes all interior metal bracing. When I was after one of these I was told they were freely available from ARB etc. Not exactly, the couple I tried both told me they were in big demand by panel beaters. Has small crack near right blinker.

Item #8 - Front and Rear shockers

Removed from new vehicle and have done less than 2000km, includes mounting bushes.

Item #9 - Front and Rear Springs

Removed from new vehicle and have done less than 2000km.

    Any questions? just ask
    Cheers
    Jack

Its a hard one Jack. Not many people buy this sort of gear for their Patrol unless its been in a smash I reckon. Send Niss4x4 in Brooklyn an email asking for a quote on these items. This will give you a rough idea atleast.
The way I do it, if you dont want them hanging around, and you want to get some storage real estate back, sell them cheap just to get rid of them. Yeah you might get more if you ask more and hang onto it but is it worth the wait?
I give a lot of stuff away or sell dirt cheap on Facebook, tell them first to come and pick up gets the goods, no holds, and they will come. Sold my clothes dryer not long ago on FB for $50, it was about 10 years old, known brand, but barely used it. Used it once in the last two years. I had people arguing on Facebook over it. And it was gone out of my house within 30 minutes of putting the add up.

If it was my stuff and I want it gone I would start with

    1. $100
    2. $50
    3. $50
    4. $70
    5. $20
    6. $150
    7. $30
    8. $40
    9. $40

Or go a little higher, maybe 20% so you have room if someone tries to barter you.

Like I said some of those things are probably worth more, but its only worth what someone wants to pay, make them cheap enough and someone will buy them just because they are cheap.

Do you get council cleanups? We don't. And we are not allowed to put car parts in rubbish bins too. So I cut the parts up small enough and evenly distribute within the bins in the street at night. Hahaha!

Advertised it for $50 on Facebook, 9:30pm and got a private message within 10mins. The guy was here next morning at 9am and it was a four hour round trip for him.
Had a couple of other enquires before I deleted the post, scarce as rocking horse shit when I was looking for one. The ARB stores I checked with all told me that the panel beaters are chasing them all the time.
Mine was in great condition and I just wanted to get rid of it.

The other big seller was the icebox, ended up getting $290 but think I could have got more.
    Cheers
