So I finally got around to gutting the interior during the week after work:

And then tonight after work I sorted out the lower wall bracing for the rear wall of the dual cab:

I had an awful lot of trouble getting the Migomag to do what I wanted it to, so used to using the million year old Cigweld at work which performs flawlessly.
Finally got it to produce some half decent welds so off I went welding up the framework:

Had a meeting with the engineer at lunchtime as well, he is very happy with my plans and has given the all clear to complete both the dual cab chop as well as the barra conversion, so that's a big win right there!
Super pumped to get stuck into it and rip the TB42e out over the weekend.

I've also gone ahead and purchased some paint to paint the chassis/diffs/etc with once I lift the body off the chassis to replace the cab mounts.

Now all I have to do is figure out which wire does what at both ends of the vehicle, as unfortunately someone has chopped the plugs off it whilst it was sitting at the farm

Local bloke in town did it for me, his name is Corey Bice. He's helped on a few Barra Patrols now, but mostly converts Barra's into Speedway cars I think.

Been flat out at work lately, so haven't had a chance to get out and work on it unfortunately. And when I do get a chance it's been pissing rain, hopefully get a chance to get out there this weekend and do a bit more to it
