? upgrde oil pump when turboing TD42?

    Hi all

Sorry if this has been asked and posted before, if you know of a thread please point me in the direction.

I'm currently rebuilding a TD42 and going to be running a factory turbo. I'm doing the normal upgrades i have heard so much about (pistons & squirters) but the engine shop has also suggested the turbo oil pump.

Can anyone shed any light on their own experiences with oil pressure when doing the upgrade, and any differences you know about the n/a TD42 oil pump compared to a Turbo one?

    Thanks all

T motor oil pumps are a higher flowing pump.Oil pressure is basically going to stay the same. They are a gear pump and the Turbo pump has wider gears than NA. . It's also a direct bolt in and I can't see there being much of a price difference. It's really a no brainer.
