Hi wagon rear upper coil pads falling out
Hi I have a 08 gu wagon 2 inch lift.
Crawling under the rear the other day I see the the upper spring pad is all deformed and not correctly seated.
I’m assuming it’s caused by too much flex? And the pad car out abit.
In any case I want to replace the upper pads now.
How can I go about this on the drive way is there a way to do it we’re I don’t have to remove everything?
Also how do I prevent this for happening on the cheap? I’m thinking something with zip ties lol.

I just installed the Boss Coil Tower Brace and used a coil spring compressor, compress the coil enough and you sould be able to slip a new pad in easily. You will need to raise the body on car stands and remove the wheels to get the diff to drop far enough.

Where did you zip tie? The pad to the coil or the pad to the coil chassis mount

So I put net coil pads in, easy job. Zip ties the pad to the coil looks like my coils are stock not aftermarket wonder if that’s why they popped out?
