Hello All from a newbie Patrol owner

    Hi All

I've had pathfinders in the past and decided to move into the big league and just recently acquired a second hand ex-CFA 2010 Patrol 3litre CRD with only 42000km on it.

Just did a complete oil change with the invaluable help of a dear friend (engine, diffs, transmission, transfer) and awaiting some parts to change fuel filter, air filter. I also have a catch can and a secondary fuel filter that will be put on to her too.

I'm really liking my new "Shermie" That's her name...as in Sherman tank...

will keep making mods (including 2 inch lift etc over time.

really enjoying reading this great forum

first thing i did when i took my new baby home was to remove all rear seeats.
then built a quick platform with a few inches underneath for storage and so i can sleep comfortably in the bush. in time i will make a nice platform with drawers etc.
i also immediately replaced the ATs with some nice new Maxxis RAZRs.
the GF says i have been vacuuming and cleaning this puppy a bit too obsessionally...LOL

G'day mate and welcome to the forum.
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder

And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time. And lost in space... and meaning.

    ok
got the secondary filter and a catch can fitted again thanks to my great friend's expertise. Also replaced the fuel filter with a genuine nissan part, replaced the air filter and cleaned the MAF.
will post photos in members ride.
Ill say right here that DieselCare were excellent. their product and bracket fitted perfectly and when we hesitated about how deep to screw in the plugs, a quick call to them immediately answered our question.
car purrs and I cant ask for better.
    cheers
