Fusion brand batteries
Looking at a 140AH lithium battery by Fusion Batteries. Anyone have any experience with their batteries or company?

They look legit, thorough web site with specs, charts, graphs etc.

Mmmmm, yes
They are Super Start Batteries, one of the best marketing machines in the business. Some of their products are good and well some are not. They buy off other brands and rebadge as their own. On paper all their batteries look better than anyone else’s. Oh and they usually have better warranty periods that most too, but read the fine print. Like I said they buy off many suppliers and if the lithium is from Vision then it’s a top notch product.

I've spent time looking at lithium batteries and I guess all batteries are like this, but most seem to be the same item, just generic items purchased from an importer with different brands stickers on them, so it's hard to differentiate a $900 100AH battery from a $1800.00 100AH battery.
I rang Enerdrive and spoke with them for 30 mins. The guy said their batteries are constructed in China which is fair enough. What I didn't ask was are the batteries made to Enerdrive's specs or are they just these generic batteries? Their 100AH battery is $1900.
My thinking is I can get a 100AH battery and it may turn out to be a 85AH or a 110 or a 70 etc etc etc. I can get a 140AH battery and it may turn out to be a 120AH battery or a 140 or a 135 or 150 etc etc etc.
Since I don't know what I'm buying (as in capacity) I may as well buy something a little cheaper but a higher capacity than I need.
Can I mount lithium batteries on their side??

Yes you can, there is no free liquid inside them
I will try to dig up a picture but basically they look like a bunch of square D cells joined together.

The Vision part number for Vision's lithium batteries all start with LFP12v-XXAH, this Fusion battery's part number is V-LFP-12-XX.
I don't know if LFP is a common thing on lithium battery markings or not?
Another thing, Vision don't list a 140AH lithium but they do list a 150AH lithium. I have noticed though that the stock for the 140AH Fusion battery is low at some places so I wonder if it's an old battery that has been replaced by the 150AH?

SSB/Fusion often have batteries with higher ratings than most others which makes one wonder how?
Vision do sell to Fusion some products.
When I sold Vision we only had 100 ah and 200 ah. Nothing in between. I just had a look on the Vision web site and it looks like that is still the case
Where did you see 150 ah Vision batteries?

On this page, about half way down, look for LFP12V-150AH. I rang Fusion. They said they're bringing out a new 120AH battery, LFPC12-120 which has a max discharge current of 100amps at around $1900. They said it's part of their new range, which was interesting as I then looked at an Enerdrive 125AH battery which already has a max discharge current of 100amps.
I also asked them who they get their Lithium batteries from and they said "we don't give that information out".
So it may appear these cheaper large AH batteries are old tech (lower discharge current for example) and more expensive lesser AH batteries are new tech???????

It makes you wonder doesn’t it.
I trust Enerdrive, Vision and Sentry from Seal Performance Batteries’s
Both Enerdrive and Sentry have blue tooth monitoring so you can see how many amps are being withdrawn and how much life is left
