Are these external Storage Solutions like extended range fuel tanks, Bladders Safe?
I am thinking to purchase an extended range fuel tank but is worrying whether it is safe container for flammable Fluids or not...

Absolutely. Long Range Tanks have to meet strict Engineering and ADR Compliance. I have a 147lt LRA Tank in teh back of both my Patrols. The GQ has landed HARD onto the tank and it must have a 20lt dent in it. The GUIV has a 10lt dent in it, not trying hard enough.....

Slightly off track and I do believe it is illegal to carry ‘petrol’ jerry cans on rear wheel/bumper carriers but is it also same for ‘diesel’ assuming so but keen to learn?

Looking at the original question, 'bladders' were also asked about. I think there are plenty of 'fit for purpose' bladders in use in the military for fuel use, however unsure if any are actually ADR approved for use in the civilian environs. I would think they are a tray installation requiring a fair attention to detail around material puncture protection. I have not seen one in use. I think you would simply need to ask about local compliance and also fitting requirements. Are you thinking of installing it inside the cabin for example and if thats allowable - suggest maybe not. Any of the commercially made brand tanks are fit for purpose and compliant I would think.

Diesel OK in approved container/s.
Petrol OK but max of 250 litres total on/in vehicle including all tanks and approved container/s.
LPG No (indeed latest regs say for new build camper trailers and vans the LPG must now be inside the A frame if carried 'externally'.
