    Y60 Bonnet struts and brackets

    hi all,

I have managed to create a set of brackets, LH and RH, using existing mounting points (no engineering required) which eliminates the need to use the existing bonnet bar/pole. Have mounted the brackets on a number of other GQ's successfully and was wondering if there is a market for them. The struts are not GU ones and have been tested to go with the brackets specifically.

At best it takes about half hour to fit....at worst an hour. The most expensive part are the struts as they will be brand new and ordered to suit.

    Cost will depend on numbers.

    Cheers

94Patrol, could be interested however I think the strut will hit my aux battery which is right up near the firewall. Are you able to take a front shot pls so i can assess. I have a bit going on under the hood on both sides already so maybe these won't fit - if they do i will be up for a pair.

I would definitely buy some of these but I'm in WA so shipping would need to be factored in.

I think they would be a really tight fit if they fitted at all. I will pass for now, but great idea and thanks for the images.
