Patrols in the outback
We have seen quite a few Patrols in the out of the way outback places we have been to so far, not as many as Cruisers of course, but nevertheless a healthy representation.
With the exception of two 3.0's pulling Tvans on the way to the Big Red Bash, another driven by someone who thought it OK to drive to Boggy Hole without his front hubs able to be locked (with young family & towing), & an 'around town' car in Newman, every one has been a 4.2 diesel. I have felt in good company. Old & young, families, couples & singles. Not only has it validated my choice, but it's good to see that the 'desirability ' for the old TD42's is more than forum talk.
