    Proportioning valve alternative

After having issue with a stuck proportioning valve on my GQ trayback, stripping it down and seeing the corrosion inside meant it needed replacing I set off looking. I was horrified to see aftermarket ones between $600 to $800 and genuine Nissan up to $1600 dollars I set off to find an alternative. Turns out the valve on the Mitsubishi Pickup Triton 86-07 is identical and a fraction of the cost. The stripped body is from the nissan original and the new one the Mitsubishi aftermarket one which cost 80 dollars delivered.

Ebay... was cheap enough to take a punt. Checked it was for disc/drum and had the 3 lines. All good.prop valve.JPG

Thank you very much for the tip. This helped me much in my GQ restoration in the absence of actual Patrol parts.
