Hello everyone
I am new to the 4x4 community, I'm only 16 and have just bought a 1998 Gu Patrol. I aim to use this to learn how to properly drive offroad in this patrol while doing some light modifications, but I don't want to go ridiculous on mods because it already has 380 thousand ks. Are there any suggestions of mods that are must have, as my gu is stock? Thank you

G'day Shauny where abouts are you and what sort of driving will you be doing? Beach, mud, highway towing?
Growler's spot on with 2" lift and muddies generally for first mod but depends on where you are and what you want to do. AT's better for beach driving and HT's if you're towing on the blacktop. All depends.
Edit: Just re-read your post and you're wanting to learn offroad driving. Growler's on the money. 2" suspension and muddies.
What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??
