Sourcing a new aerial for a 2002 DX ute

The original guard mounted manual aerial in the farm ute has seen too many trees and the mast is gone and the foot no longer holds onto the guard.

In my attempt to reinstate tunes into the ute with a new radio, I have sought to replace the aerial. I bought an Aerpro AP60 multi fit guard mounted aerial but the foot is too small for the hole in the guard...so that won't work.

Sourcing genuine appears to be either spectacularly expensive or impossible...

Surely someone has been down this trail before...if so what did you do?

Nope. It's purple. It's a piece of 25 mm low pressure grey water drainage poly. No need for fancy pressure rated hose here!

All the heavy lifting is done by the modified original aerial foot which the AP60 Aerpro has been shoved into...
