Yep I've just spent the better part of 4 hours scrubbing under and over the GQ and have not even started cleaning the inside yet.
Next time, fish oil!!

It's just CT18 truck wash/degreaser from supercheap but shot from a "snow foam" gun through the Karcher. Can't remember the brand I used, is the same as this but I did not pay that much.

I normally use the CT18 through that gun at a roughly 10:1 ratio with water but this time was 100% straight CT18

Just sat down after unpacking the car and half the trailer. Ill get into the cleaning tomorrow. Note on the Fish Oil, i used it before a trip a few years ago thinking it would be awesome! OMFG!! What a mess. So the fish oil "sets" on your chassis and underside. Looks sweet. Then you hit the beach with the fish oil waxy layer and it gets sand blasted and the sand embeds into the fish oil. It was a Train wreck to try and blow off with the pressure washer. Fish oil after for the win. Fish Oil penetrates the pours of the steel believe it or not and will work great on sand blasted surfaces.
Lanolin spray works great too. WD40 will be great too but now is the perfect time to wash, scrub and Paint with chassis Black or deadener. It will never be cleaner than straight after a Cape Jaffa Trip.
Thanks to All that came and made my time at Cape Jaffa so memorable. Was a Cracking trip.
Next trip booked from 27/12/2020 to 11/01/2021. 16 sites booked. Bring it.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yeah have to agree used fish oil in WA but ended up just using WD in the end. Needs more regular application but do like it a bit better.
