Missing in Action
170,000 km`s on OME shocks & springs, no complaints - still going strong. No experience with Tough Dog.

OME all the way. 200,000kms on my OME and still travel well. You should also look at a rear spring tower brace kit and maybe some Polyair bags for the rear so it is not a dog when not towing your heavy load.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!
....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Tough Dog
I have them as an upgrade and so far not one complaint.
#disclaimer.. I don't mud or rock crawl unless I have to.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?

Both guess good. For corrugations, that I drive, do not like gas or foam cell. Would like to give Tough Dog a go but in saying that check out Bilseins B6 shocks as well. If mainly running reasonable good surfaces, towing etc and not carrying constant heavy loads, add some air bags in rear coils instead of HD springs.
